Tip 2: Beware of The Grinch!

| No, this guy was not the Grinch. Here's a little clarification of tip 2. Remember tip 1? Always pack your equipment with you, wherever you go? Well, tip 2: Beware of the Grinch means - NEVER leave your camera equipment in the car, keep it on you at all times! It would be nice to believe the best in people, but unfortunately, bad guys are out there during the holiday season...just scouting out a prey. The above pic was taken in 2007 when I left my camera equipment in the car while the family had a nice dinner after cutting down our own tree. While we were having our nice family dinner, the Grinch came along and stole it. Luckily, my wife had thrown the little point-n-shoot in her purse and we have a few memories of that year. Whether you are amateur or pro, keep your equipment on you. Equipment can be replaced, but memories cannot. And either way, never forget INSURANCE!!! |
