Today is the wedding day of Heather and Drew. They are such a wonderful couple and I was honored not only to be asked to photograph their wedding, but to also help them celebrate their engagement. Back in the spring, we were able to capture prime cherry blossom season around the tidal basin in downtown DC. This couple is so in love, and in showed in every image captured. I look forward to sharing the story of their marriage on my blog next week. Until then, I would like to share with you some images from their engagement session.

| Okay, I'll admit it, I'm a romantic. How could I resist capturing the above image. We were just walking to our next location, but I happened to notice the couple on the bench. What photographer could miss the chance to capture one couple starting their journey with another couple well into theirs all in the same frame? Not me. |

| This was one of my personal favorites of the day. I had to give Heather and Drew no direction at all. They were so cuddly and in love and I just loved how this image shows how they plan to embrace each other for life! |
